A lot of people assume that they need to do something drastic to fix this problem. Obviously the solution that they think of is going to a snoring clinic. It makes the most sense. At least you'll be able to work with professionals that will be able to figure out this problem in the end. Unfortunately this is a very expensive route to take. They do all sorts of tests to see exactly what is happening on the inside. A lot of these tests are just there to run up a bill and scam you out of your money. That's why I think you should be avoiding the snoring clinic and stick to a real solution to this problem like a chin strap.
The reason that you snore is due to the actual position of your jaw and tongue. When you go to bed your muscles also go to sleep as well. This causes things to let go, sag and droop down. Your tongue will actually extend back closer to your throat. Your jaw will actually fall loose and put a lot of pressure on your throat area. These two things lead to the entire problem, so you obviously don't need the expensive tests of a snoring clinic.
It is difficult to control the position of your tongue as you sleep, so that is completely useless to try and control. A snoring chin strap is a far better solution to the problem because it will control the jaw without any discomfort. It takes a few seconds to put on before bed and completely fixes the problem for you.
