Olive oil as moisturizer is good, but you have to make sure that you’re following a few guidelines before you start using it.
If you’re not doing these simple things then you might be hurting your skin and it might make you look OLDER not younger, I am pretty sure you don’t want that, do you?
There are two varieties of olive oil, there’s the refined olive oil and there’s the extra virgin cold-pressed olive oil. The refined oil has been heated and denatured, this is the one that can actually hurt your skin.
So when you want to use olive oil as moisturizer you want to make sure that it is in its denatured form and avoid any additives or anything in it.
Olive oil also isn’t suitable for every skin type out there, some do better with it than others, so it can get quite tricky if you want to start using it yourself.
I have experimented with it myself and had mixed results, I much prefer things like jojoba and grapeseed oil, and if you can find a skin care product that contains those then you’re golden, they will make your skin look incredible.
In conjunction with those two oils you want to look for something called Cynergy TK, it is a pretty new ingredient.
Using Cynergy TK is almost like cheating, it’s that good. So if you can find it, then that is good. The most important thing is to avoid the harmful chemicals and additives that are floating in almost every product.
