Ever since I was 15 and picked up Dale Carnergie's classic How to Win
Friends And Influence People (a classic you need to read if you haven't
already) I recognized that in order to be my best self, I needed to
become rich. And I had that desire to have a "dream income" for over
half of my life.
Let me be blunt. If you aren't rich, if you aren't raking in the
dough, if you haven't "made it" or are struggling financially, you are a
slave.
That's a very strong and controversial statement, but it's true and I
know it because I've LIVED IT.
I know what it's like to go to the store and wonder which card you
should use to make your purchase because you THINK you may have enough
but aren't sure.
I know what it's like to be behind on your rent by 3 weeks.
I know what it's like to have a -$300.00 balance in my bank account,
mostly due to overdraft fees.
I know what it's like feeling my soul curling up into a depressed,
hopeless, broken ball, suffering from the extreme lack, despair and
hopelessness. Abundance or living "the good life" was a whisper of a
dream from another time I would never be able to achieve.
Believe me, I know this, because I've lived it.
Why do I want you to be rich? Simple. Compassion. Its my deepest wish
for people to have the highest success they can conceive. Why should you
struggle?
When you are rich you have the ability to experience what you want,
when you want to (in most cases). You also have the means to give back
to society on a massive scale.
The good news is, you don't have to live a meager existence anymore -
I will show you the way out. You don't need to put up with living below
your standards anymore.
I realized this when the inevitable turning point came in my life,
and believe it or not, it came long before I was laid off from work.
Read about it below, but for now, let me tell you this. Part of the
culprit is miseducation or quite simply, NO education or enrichment.
We have been conditioned as human beings to have a love/hate
relationship with money. We love it, NEED it, in fact, but are taught to
hate it or struggle for it ("Money doesn't grow on trees!"). We use it
and abuse it - just look at the national (or even GLOBAL) deficit.
Individuals to governments abuse money, create wide gaps of debts that
look to be neverending, and everybody suffers.
The thing that is missing regarding money (or any area that could use
improvement) is education.
And if you are a marketer or someone who wants to start his or her
own profitable business and you want to take something away from this
page that will stick with you forever, here is my #1 tip...
You Need The Proper Marketing Training, Education and "Know-How" To
Be Prosperous.
Now I'm not just talking about your run-of-the-mill ebook you picked
up for $27.00 or some webinar you went to for an hour that was
essentially just an elaborate sales pitch. I'm talking about REAL,
honest to goodness solid financial and marketing education that will
propel you into the stratosphere of money generating abundance.
What kind of education constitutes "proper" training?
This is an excellent question. By and large, the best kind of
training is information that changes YOU as a person. When YOU become
more valuable, success will naturally follow if you market yourself
correctly.
Einstein put it best. He said:
"Try not to be a man of success; try to be a man of value."
How can you increase your value? Here are some ways:
1. Read (and APPLY) new mindsets from self-enrichment books, like
those of Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, and Zig Ziglar. These men are giants
because they applied what they teach - success principles starting with
the mind. You can do the same. 2. Read at least 3 of these books per
month or more. The more you read and absorb and enrich yourself, the
more valuable you will become through massive action and effort on your
part. The success will NATURALLY follow you. 3. Realize that one
distinction can be worth $1,000,000. Let go of being a know-it-all. Read
and read and absorb more and more to gain your next distinction. Gold
may be valuable, but distinctions are priceless. Gain one distinction
daily. They serve to open your mind to new possibilities. 4. Learn and
master one aspect of your niche. The percentage of people who actually
take time to do this is astoundingly small. If you enrich yourself with
a success mindset and an in-demand skill, success will NATURALLY follow
you and you'll be way ahead of the pack. 5. Teach others based on what
you have learned through experience. This is where things really start
to soar. Show others the way by example. Lead them by giving away your
expertise and knowledge. When you give to others in such a manner, you
shall be rewarded. It's that simple.
So you see, self-education is crucial for any level of success. When
you were a baby, you learned to walk. You found out through trial and
error what worked and what didn't. Soon, you mastered walking and could
run. Then you could sprint. Then you could jump, twirl and dance or do
gymnastics.
So it is with mastering any skill. One step mastered leads to
another.
So educate and enrich yourself. You are as valuable as you are
educated.
