Now, it would not be wise to rush to the gym and start lifting weights. Doing so will not be good for your shoulders and it is never wise to stress out your injured shoulder. Lifting weights with an injured shoulder will only point you to more disasters than what you have started with.

You must understand that your shoulders are complex pieces of natural engineering which simply means shoulder rotator cuff injuries can be more complicated than what they seem. If you want to recover from them fast, you must do the right kinds of exercises - and these do not include lifting weights. What you need are shoulder exercises that will help your shoulders get back in shape.

Try to perform gentle shoulder exercises regularly. Try to consult your doctor about the right kinds of exercises so you can be sure that you will not be injuring yourself more than what you have already had. For example, try to do simple shrugs to remind your shoulders how they should move in normal situations. Do not allow your shoulders to get used to being stationary or you can end up with more problems instead of recovering from your injury.

There are several other shoulder exercises that you can perform to help you recover from shoulder rotator cuff injuries. Ask your doctor about them and perform them properly and regularly and you can be back in shape in no time.
