Liver Detox Diets are available in many forms so I thought it would be useful to write a little about my experiences. Firstly there are many types of heavily advertised pills and capsules that are supposed to offer you an easy liver detox diet. You may not be surprised to find that these are not supported with any evidence that they work. There have also been thousands of complaints posted all over the internet regards these products.
There is no such thing as an easy detox. In effect any detox is depriving your body of substances you crave and once you start a detox you will be amazed at what foods and drinks you do indeed crave.
I have tried all the leading detox plans plus read thousands of online reviews and I can tell you the best detox plan by far is the Lemon Cayenne Pepper detox plan. There is though good and bad news. Firstly the good news is that you do not have to spend a small fortune purchasing this product as you can get the recipe free and make it cheaply in your own home. The bad news is this detox plan in its raw form is very difficult to complete. The first time I tried this detox plan I will be honest and say I gave up within 48 hours.
Many feel that the Lemon Cayenne Pepper Detox Diet is far too strict because in effect you have to replace all solid foods with the drink. I agree! There is though a plan which teaches you to add safe foods to this detox plan which makes the detox much easier to complete. Adding safe foods to the detox plan I was able to complete a 10 day detox and lost over 10lbs in the process.
Whilst on the detox diet I did find the first 2 days difficult even with adding safe foods. I did feel weak and tired. After 48 hours though I felt fine! On completion of the detox I really did feel energised and since have changed my regular diet.
If I can complete a 10 day detox then anybody can so why don’t you give it a go!
